All of our human interface receptors indicate stimuli at acceptable levels. Whirrrrr, click.
Looks good. Maybe have a quote functionality on both the main post and subsequent replies? I know you can use the tags to do so, but having a quick “quote and reply” button is quite handy, especially on mobile.
Unless that’s what the reply button is supposed to do already? In which case it’s broken. 😀

Thank you for your suggestion.
I’m quickly testing the b-quote function on pc… will check this on mobile, too.
Maybe have a quote functionality on both the main post and subsequent replies
Testing the reply button also as nested reply.

Testing Imgur embed
testing image function
testing direct link
Thank you for this report!
You can simply copy and paste the url under the text or use the embed code.. Ill have to check why the image function doesn’t work.

You can simply drag and drop direct links and it auto-embeds them.
You can nonetheless insert html into the text field.
Let’s see with random image links:
–> direct random link doesn’t always work, therefore img function:
direct with giphy:
–>giphy img function:
–> giphy embed:
Giphy conclusion for now: Only embed works
Imgur direct links work. –> next
youtube too –> next
direct vimeo link:
(bandcamp) random html embed:
CONCLUSION FOR NOW:
If you want to be certain, that a picture, gif or video or whatever works, you should use the embed html code and for pictures the image function in the toolbar (“img”-button).
GIFs: Imgur direct link works, giphy not.
Videos: the common ones should work with direct links
P.S.: I´ll try to make the other direct links work.

Awesome, thanks for your work on this. Have high hopes for this site.
Also, if it’s not too much trouble to do so, could the reply button be moved or at least duplicated to the bottom of the post? It would make it quick and handy to reply to long posts, rather than having to scroll all the way back to the top. I know, it’s a minor quibble and I’m incredibly lazy. 🙂

At the bottom you can directly insert your reply to the original post without scrolling to the top. The reply buttons, like the one I’m using now to directly respond to your last post is at the top. Do you mean these ones?
